Hello

I've spent a few days in february visiting the Somme battlefields.

I've made a report of that few days, with many drawings, some pictures, and
extracts of books of soldiers, or pilots involved in the battles of 1916
and 1918. I visited von Richtofen's victims, the place where he last took
of, and where he crashed land, and some burial places of well knowed pilote
like james McCudden.

Excellent site Pascal - merci. Une petite correction -

Although Brown and May flew with the newly formed RAF they were both
in
fact Canadian. It would perhaps be more accurate to refer to them as
Canadian or British rather than English.

And as you may be aware it is now generally recognized that the
Australian gunner Sgt Popkin rather than Capt Brown should have been
credited with the kill.

Cheers
