Great to have something interesting and well-done on here for a change.

I got a bang out of the hotel air conditioning problem. That is so

Yes, a pity Usenet has more or less died. So much more efficient than
the web forums. I think the spam issues have driven away those who

A good question... I write up only trips which are somehow different,
and this Crete one was done a) to show how much simpler IFR is than
the the VFR version in 2004 and b) the new weather assessment method
using the IR images.

This year I have a number of trips to go: Austria, Sweden, France, but
they should be routine.
