Hello,

Is there somewhere on the net i can type in a flight number and it shows
me where it is going from/to etc ??. (UK routes mainly, although
over-flights etc may be handy !)

Kind Regards,
Andrew

Not of UK flights but in USA you have Flight Aware http://flightaware.com/
for IFR flights in the US. It will include flights that started abroad.

Otherwise, the only way to see flights in the UK is to get the SBS-1
Real-Time Virtual Radar (have a look in
http://www.transair.co.uk/Category.asp?SID=1&Category_ID=2109)

Hope this helps,

Gus

Isn't there some confusion?
As I read Gus' valuable reply,
it seems to bring real-time info on actual flights.
As I understand the original request,
it concerns planified periodic flights.
Correct me if I'm wrong!

You could try the flight tracker on http://www.fboweb.com.

this gives......

Actual Flights:
Flight Type Origin Dest TimeStamp Status Track in 3D
CLX778 XXXX ELLX JFK 27-100719 ACTIVE

Flight Plans On File:
Flight Type Origin Dest TimeStamp Status
CLX778 B744 ELLX JFK 27-091524 TIMEOUT

The example is for a cargolux flight today.

This does cover uk flights but not all. If you have google earth on
your PC it will overlay the route and show the last recorded position.
